报告摘要： In this talk, we shall review the mathematical analysis of boundary layers in geophysical flow in the large Reynolds number and beta-plane parameter limit, including the behavior of boundary layers, the well-posedness of boundary layer equations, and the justification of the boundary layer expansions.
报告人简介：王亚光，1992年在复旦大学获博士学位，现任上海交通大学bg视讯讲席教授。王亚光教授主要从事偏微分方程理论及其应用的研究，在流体力学Prandtl边界层与空气动力学间断解的数学理论等方面获得一系列有重要影响的成果，发表在J.Amer.Math.Soc. , Arch. Rational Mech.Anal., Adv.in Math等刊物上，先后获教育部自然科学一等奖(第一完成人)和上海市自然科学一等奖(第二完成人)，曾入选上海市领军人才计划与优秀学术带头人计划、国家新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选；主持国家自然科学基金委重点项目。
